Matt West

Matt West, COO, has over 18 years of experience in the real estate and solar development industry and has led teams on the execution of over $1 billion worth of solar projects in North America. Prior to joining Solops, Matt served as the Chief Construction Officer for Onyx Renewable Partners, L.P. the exclusive renewable energy investment company for global giant The Blackstone Group (NYSE: BX). Prior to Onyx he served as Executive Vice President for Solops. Matt initially joined Solops at the conclusion of his tenure as a Project Manager at Lanco Solar International and Alteris Renewables. Matt specializes in all aspects of renewable energy project development, project management and asset management. His experience in implementing procedures and building out teams has led to successful portfolio transactions in excess of over 500MWs in 16 states across the US.

Matt received a B.S. in Business Management from Widener University. He is also an Accredited Professional in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) with emphasis on Building Design and Construction.
